Why the heat section matters for desk workers
Eight hours in front of a screen leaves the upper back permanently contracted, and lying straight down on the table meets resistance in those muscles. Fifteen minutes of heat is exactly what allows the same pressure to reach much deeper.
During the massage the area between the shoulder blades, the neck and the forearms are worked together. The whole programme takes 90-100 minutes.
Session day or the day after
A session on the evening of a heavy meeting day makes falling asleep easier and the next morning noticeably lighter. Going straight into a long meeting after a deep tissue session, on the other hand, can leave a tired feeling, so we keep midday sessions at medium pressure.
Retail and hospital staff
For shop assistants and hospital staff the picture is different: long shifts spent standing. In that group the work focuses on the lower back and the soles of the feet, and the heat section is kept short.

Can I have a massage before a meeting? A light session is fine; deep tissue is better scheduled for the end of the day.
My headache starts in the neck; what helps? A medium-pressure session covering the neck, upper back and scalp.
Can we book as a team? Yes; for three people or more consecutive time blocks are reserved.
